Most people didn’t realize Stacey Abrams had taken time from her career as an erotic novelist to run for governor of Georgia. After all, she’s experienced very little if any success as a political candidate.
She’s muddled around on the state senate level for years and her last bid for governor ended with a loss. It’s not for lack of trying though. The left has propped her up as the future of the party for years. Every mainstream media outlet has told us America should be learning from her.
Well, it looks like another supporter has emerged to try and push Abrams over the top in this year’s e******n season. Our good friend, the billionaire philanthropist, George Soros.
Billionaire George Soros donated $1M to Stacey Abrams’ gubernatorial campaign just a few days after she qualified to run in March. He donated the funds through a super PAC. Soros made the donation through Democracy PAC II to One Georgia, Abrams’ leadership PAC.
Looks like Democrats are trying to make Abram’s path to the nomination easier this time around. Running unopposed is an odd occurrence, especially in a state as large and diverse as Georgia. It’s almost as if, this was planned.
Soros seems to be more determined than ever to sway the outcomes of e******ns this November.
There are limits to how much an individual or business can contribute to a candidate. Leadership PACs get around those limits. They can raise as much money as they can for a candidate. This year Soros is giving his super PAC, Democracy PAC II, $125M to sway e******ns across the country. He is contributing to both Democrat groups and candidates in the 2022 midterm e******n cycle. Democracy PAC II is run by his son.
That’s a lot of money. It’s no wonder Abrams got the funding she did, after all, Soros and his son have been keeping in touch with her since the last e******n.
