Ukraine's War Now America's War?

"By bragging publicly that we helped engineer the k*****g of Russian generals and the sinking of the cruiser Moskva, we taunt Russian President Vladimir Putin. We provoke him into retaliating in kind against us, thereby raising the possibility of a wider U.S.-Russia war that could escalate into World War III."

Last week, sources leaked to The New York Times that, in Ukraine's targeting and k*****g of Russian generals and the sinking of Russia's Black Sea f**gship, the Moskva, U.S. intelligence played an indispensable role.

Apparently, our intel people identified and located for the Ukrainian forces what became the targets of their deadly attacks.

Why U.S. intelligence would engage in such childish behavior as to publicly reveal this seems inexplicable.

In claiming credit for Ukraine's most visible military successes, we diminish any achievements of that country's own forces.

Through publicly bragging that the U.S. helped engineer the k*****g of Russian generals and the sinking of the cruiser Moskva, we are knowingly and it would appear, deliberately, taunting Russian President Vladimir Putin. We are surely aware that such provocation may result in his retaliating in kind against us, thereby creating a widening U.S.-Russia war that could escalate into World War III.

Moreover, U.S. boasting like this is diplomatically immature, directly playing into Putin's insistance that Russia is facing and fighting a U.S.-led alliance in Ukraine that's goal is to crush Russia.

Why are we now going so completely beyond assistance to the Ukrainians in defending themselves, in our rhetoric, at least, into declaring this to be American's war?

When Speaker Nancy Pelosi arrived in Poland following her visit to Kyiv, she virtually embraced the idea of the Ukraine-Russia war as now being America's war, declaring, "America stands with Ukraine. We stand with Ukraine until victory is won."

Accompanying Pelosi to Kyiv was a delegation of House Democrats, one of whom, Rep. Jason Crow of Colorado, echoed Pelosi in Poland:

"The United States of America is in this to win." [win what?]

Their visit closely followed that of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who came out of Kyiv and declared the U.S. strategic goals in Ukraine's war:

"We want to see Russia weakened to the degree that it can't do the kind of things it has done in invading Ukraine."

These statements by U.S. leaders reinforce Putin's line that Russia is besieged by a U.S.-led Western alliance that fears and detests Mother Russia and wishes to see her permanently defeated and diminished.

Our enemies in the West who seek to destroy Russia are like those we fought in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, Putin now claims. And intervention in Ukraine was necessary to prevent today's neo-N**is from d**gging Ukraine into their larger conspiracy to destroy Russia.

Consider Putin's words of a week ago:

"The forces that have always pursued a policy of "containing" Russia ... do not want such a huge and independent country that is too big for their ideas ... They believe it endangers them simply by the fact of its existence, although this is far from reality. It is they who endanger the world."

We are h**ed for who and what we are, says Putin... although our military operation is an act of legitimate self-defense against the same kind of "N**i filth" against which we fought in the Great Patriotic War (WWII).

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has described the recent surge in heavy Western weapons shipments to Ukraine as "NATO ... going to war with Russia through a proxy and arming that proxy."

By cutting Republicans out of her delegation to Kyiv, Pelosi appears to want to make the war not America's war, but solely her Democrat party's cause.

There appears to be a provocative motive behind Biden's consciously exceeding any other Western leader in the language he is using against Putin, calling him a "k**ler," a "murderous dictator," a "pure thug," a "butcher," a "war criminal," guilty of "genocide," who "for God's sake ... cannot remain in power."

Such language is designed to showcase Biden as the world's leading moralist and anti-Putinist... the most outraged among the world's leaders in his opposition to what Russia is purported to be doing in Ukraine.

This unprofessional, provocative, public boasting of U.S. intel agents over our role in the sinking of the Moskva and k*****g of the Russian generals, effectively disqualifies the U.S. president from any role in negotiating a truce or an end to this war.

The U.S. handicaps itself by refraining from any leader-to-leader communication with the Kremlin, which President John F. Kennedy managed to retain as a top priority in order to end the Cuban missile crisis.

NATO Europe, which is supporting the Ukrainian resistance, is not supportive of the U.S. plans to permanently cripple Russia and its 150 million citizens.

America needs to immediately acknowledge that our objectives in this war must differ from that of Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would love to have the U.S. plunge into a fight on Kyiv's behave, devastating and defeating the Russian army, then expelling Russia from the regions invaded this year, and from Crimea, annexed by Russia in 2014.

America's actual vital interest in this war is three-fold: 1) prevent it becoming a U.S.-Russia war, 3) prevent it escalating to WWIII, 3) cease all feverish rhetoric before a nuclear war ensues.

The stated U.S. goal of imposing a crushing defeat against "Russian aggression" is promoting the possibility of all out war with Russia, and if continued, will scuttle our far more vital interest in avoiding a U.S.-Russia war.

America's interests are best served by an early and negotiated peace, a goal that rules out imposing humiliating terms on Russia, which would cause Moscow and Putin to escalate militarily — in order to survive politically.

Ukraine's War Now America's War? br br Tuesday - ... (show quote)

Instead of focusing on our own border crisis, job crisis, financial crisis, we are spending money we do not have, and depleting our inventory of arms, in a border dispute that does not directly affect our security interests. In fact, it does the exact opposite, it puts our nation in the cross-hairs of a potential war with a nuclear power that is completely avoidable.

This being an accurate assessment of what Biden's Administration has done, involves the fact that Joe has effectively used his Over The Horizon Tools against Russia 🇷🇺. I would have already fired Nuclear Weapons if I were Vladimir Putin because of these actions.
And secondly, the Aid Package for Ukraine was set at $33 Billion Dollars before Nancy Pelosi visited Zelensky's Wife last week. So what in the hell caused the increase to $40 Billion Dollars 💸, which passed yesterday??
That additional $7 Billion Dollars could have, well, you know where I'm going with this.

This United States of America appears to be firmly in the grasp of the criminally insane... and the few elected officials who appear to be honest, competent, and to have their heads on straight, appear to be powerless.

I've always been told that Almighty God answers every prayer: "Yes," "No," or "You've got to be kidding."

Looking back over the past decades, I can find very little that would prompt a sovereign God to spare us collectively, as a nation, the grief that we deserve.

God is very slow to anger (Exodus 34:6; Psalm 86:15), but His patience with the Assyrians (now northern Iraq) was coming to an end 2,800 years ago, and He was ready to judge the nation. His message to the Ninevites (modern Mosul) was simple, “Yet forty days and Nineveh will be o*******wn” (Jonah 3:4-10). This was a message of pending destruction. However, the forty days was a period of grace in which God gave the nation the opportunity to turn from their wickedness and pursue righteousness.

Surprisingly, the Assyrians responded swiftly and properly to God’s message by humbling themselves. The text reveals, “Then the people of Nineveh believed in God; and they called a fast and put on sackcloth from the greatest to the least of them.” Even the king of Nineveh “arose from his throne, laid aside his robe from him, and covered himself with sackcloth and sat in the ashes.” The king acknowledged his sinfulness and the sinfulness of his people and called for a fast to demonstrate their humility.

He reasoned that since God had not brought judgment already, there was opportunity to turn from their violent ways and avoid the Lord’s wrath. The king commanded, “let men call on God earnestly that each may turn from his wicked way and from the violence which is in his hands.” His reasoning was simple, for he thought, “Who knows, God may turn and relent and withdraw His burning anger so that we will not perish.”

Because the Ninevites humbled themselves before God, He spared them from His judgment, for “When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their wicked way, then God relented concerning the calamity which He had declared He would bring upon them. And He did not do it.”

This shows the principle that “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble” (1st Peter 5:5). Because of their humility, that generation knew God’s grace and was spared from destruction."

What do you think the chances are that We the People and our Ruling Officials will humble ourselves before God?
