“When an NIH employee makes a discovery in their official capacity, the NIH owns the rights to any resulting patent. These patents are then licensed for commercial use to companies that could use them to bring products to market,” the fact sheet reads.

“Employees are listed as inventors on the patents and receive a share of the royalties obtained through any licensing, or ‘technology t***sfer,’ of their inventions. Essentially, taxpayer money funding NIH research benefits researchers employed by NIH because they are listed as patent inventors and therefore receive royalty payments from licensees.”

Keep this piece of information in mind whenever you consider taking medical advice from public health officials. While you are at it, why not write a letter to your representatives in congress and demand that they get rid of this "conflict of interest" scheme in order to restore some semblance of credibility to these public health entities.

Every agency and most individuals in government are now "conflicted of interest" party hacks. These a$$chaps are stealing billions and getting away with it as your average American is suffering under the laws and policies these a$$wholes lay down. Look how much was lost by Hitlery Clinton while Secretary of The "Es"State, billions!!! Even Black Lies Matter leaders have walked away with $$$$ millions while extorting money from dumba$$ corporations to help fund their r**ts and r****t, marxist agenda. The solution is to fire 95% of government employees and let them find real jobs in the private sector while keeping the good 5%. We can downsize and probably pay off the trillion dollar national debt in 1 year by getting rid of the Pigloosli's, Bribems, Ovommits, McConnells, Romneys, Fraudci's, the FBI, CIA, general milley and his crooked, sexually perverted military friends and the dastardly MSM while we are at it. Can you imagine how wealthy every American could be if we stopped this "conflict of interest" fiasco and rape of the American taxpayer??
