A thought occurred to me today as I was commenting on a post: do we ever change our mind on a subject after reading an OPP post? I've put this question on occasion to two other discussion groups over the years, and never received an affirmative answer. But OPP is a very large (I assume?) audience so who knows?

If you've had an opinion changing experience please let us know about. I don't think rigid minds will cure many problems.

I did... I used to work for Planned Parenthood in the late 80's early 90's until I saw what happened during a******n... I was pro- choice, and after PP I became pro-life when I saw little, tiny hands and feet when dr was trying to determine how many weeks fetus was..

That is the emotional side.

For others, that is not as important as the society side.

If women who decide to have an a******n see what I saw, maybe they would think twice...What's more sick, Dr while she was doing a******n, was talking to the nurse about her new furniture and they were laughing about it!

If the poster points me in the direction of information I did not have before and it proves my basic understanding of a subject wrong yes I would change my mind and have done this here as I have great respect and trust for many here.

Grandpa Rick’s question of whether OPP alters opinions

If you haven’t altered an opinion lately pinch yourself, you might be dead.

It’s making me think.

if women were offered more information and given more choices on HOW TO NOT GET PREGNANT there wouldn't be half as many a******ns as there are now

I can’t say that I have adopted any of the right’s agenda, so no.

I used to be very anti Snowden and Assange... Thanks to several posters here providing me with information and asking questions that made me think I have a very different opinion today...

And there's lots I've learned about American and world history from the site...

I too have learned a lot. The right wing videos I would never have found. They help my understand.
