I Truly Think The Supreme Court Is Going To Cave Or Be Caved On Roe V Wade...

This comes from a place that is taking several evolving things into account...different pressures.

To start with Collins, Murkowski, and Manchin seem to be stunned or appalled that recent appointees literally lied in confirmation hearings about the solidity of Roe V Wade as a foundationally solid president law. They and a lot of others never believed the supreme court would ever go where Alito did in terms of pissing on Stare Decisis.

Already politicians are indicating that they think the supreme court has become dangerously partisan and political to a degree something needs to be done. If one justice bends to public pressure they will be left with softening their position and rewriting Alito's decision to reflect a solider support for precedent. It is obvious that the supreme court kicked a court destroying hornets nest...and the centrist side of the court is going to be pressuring them to cave.

The senate can rectify this, and part of that is deciding if the are going to tolerate this level of deceit...and yes they probably would but they are going to be facing career ending e******ns at home in states that had close margins and more democrats registered than republicans. This is a move that will catalyze even moderate republicans. One key shift may be towards ending the filibuster so as to be able to modify and fix the supreme court.

If the SCOTUS blows off Roe v Wade, there’s nothing to stop this right wing court from doing away with other established norms the white evangelicals have a problem with.

Alito attacked the previous case precedent that involved federal versus states right under which the state's power was rejected.

That's exactly the mallet Alito used, states could make their own laws about gay and race laws.

Woody woody woody:::::::
Why is it that when the Supreme Court was left controlling that it wasn't a partisan. Now that it is a right controlling it IS partisan. (according to you and the media) The answer to all of our partisan problems and I mean problems is to eliminate the Left radical politicians and some Right ones as well. Second put term limits on the House, Senate AND all Federal Jobs with any power to change things as they see fit. The elimination of these people should be VERY public do something like the old days of Tar and Feather and send them home.... OH What a Wonderful day that would be. Clean out the Government!!! Get rid of the Woke Generals as well. None of them know what they are doing anyway.
The leak was timed just right for the Democrats and I, in my heart of hearts believe that Sonia Sotomayor is the point of the leaked documents. I don't believe there is a Democrat save Senator Joe Manchin that cares about what happens to this country as long as they are in Power that glorious power that they desire.
I wonder WHY its the Democrats that want gun control.... Hummmm could it be that they are afraid for the very lives if they go too far with this Republic k*****g strategy????

Um…. Because, despite their lies during confirmation hearings, Barrett, Kavenaugh, and Gorsuch were put in place specifically to overturn Roe v Wade?

Is that why Trump and his acolytes STILL think he won in 2020?

Barrett , Kavanaugh, Gorsuch.
All three appointed by Trump.
They lied in their hearings under oath and should be impeached.
This is a terrible precedent for
The Supreme Court Of The United States.!!!!!!

It was illegal of them to decide the case. That's what's at stake....not what you are afraid the right is going to do.

Illegal? Since 1973? Nope.

As usual , as with every skirmish with the right, they never have anything to lose.
This fight about a******ns has no winners but the left is the one that will lose.
They pull and twist , bend , crank and twirl. If they win good , but that was never the point, the point is always that the left is in a serious fight the right couldn’t really care less about.
The left needs to start taking away the rights of the right. Start with the 2nd amendment. Let them fight their blessed little hearts out about a thing the left couldn’t care less about.
That’s the problem , the fights only affect the left. The right doesn’t win , but somehow we continue to lose.
We need to change the narrative and start going after what ever it the right stands for. I haven’t figured that out yet , but I’m working on it !
A New Narrative.
Throw Shumer out. He always strikes me as some Jewish grandfather who is going to make everything right. He doesn’t and we lose again. He is a
Corporate Democrat who needs to go. We need to get somebody in there that isn’t afraid to kick a trash can down the hallway to make a point.
