What about r********ns for s***e owners? They paid a lot for good s***es and then all of a sudden BAM they're FREE. And the farmer was left with a field of cotton and no one to pick it. His investment just walked away. Many had to rent soldiers for $160 bucks a month just to harvest the field. And they did a poor job. Where are our r********ns? A financial
loss because of a decision by our government.

I was just reviewing the estate of Capt. Wm. Ellis, who was the leader of the Traveling Church from Virginia to Kentucky. The big money in his estate was from the sale of his s***es, which came to over $13,000 in 1817.
