Hey Arch! What are you having a cow about, now?
How are things in 'flatland' Texas? I visited the area, including Palo Duro Canyon over 50 years ago. Amazing how that canyon just seemed to open up before us! Great vacation, especially for a 13 year old.

Yeah, the canyon is quite a place alright. I've been fortunate enough to get to see large parts of it that most people can't get to. The JA ranch owns a large part of it.
Youth was in El Paso.
I can remember blue skies and in a blink of an eye, standing in a dust storm. Every nook and cranny, every wrinkle was saturated with grains of dust.
Traveling, Tumble weeds would run in masses across the road, larger than our station wagon.
Our pioneers were some tough and loving people to cross and settle in this new country.
