Finding one of the neighborhood kids making faces at others on the playground, J in Cleveland stopped to gently reprimand the child.
He thought for a minute about what to say to him, then came up with what he thought was the perfect solution.
Smiling nicely, J said: "Johnny, when I was a child, I was told if that I made ugly faces, it would freeze and I would stay like that."
Just as J had paused, little Johnny also paused to think about his response.
He replied: "Well, Mr. J, you can't say you weren't warned."

I used to hear that about crossing your eyes. It probably is true if you take a nasty whack to your head at the same time.
