I call BS on the better economy. It was only better if you started with wealth. The Dow was Trumps guidepost, which is no longer a valid indicator of the health of the economy. A large majority of the population has little or no real involvement in Wall Street.
Gas prices are largely dependent on supply and demand. There were some refineries taken off line for "maintenance", which will limit supply. The country opened up, people started traveling a little more thus increasing demand. Under these circumstances prices will increase - basic economic theory.
BUT, the stock buy backs and executive bonuses are also a contributing factor. Oil companies are seeing the highest profits ever. Those profits are not going back into the business nor to the employees. They are going to the stockholders, execs and buy backs. This has absolutely nothing to do with Biden. This has to do with corporate greed.

Content of character hit an increasingly slippery slope with Trump. I could make an expansive list of people appointing people with no clue or background in the organization they were selected to lead. Unfortunately, I can't remember all of them and it would take way too much space than is available. However, it did seem that heavy contributors were preferred over background and expertise.
