In 2020 Fox News paid some of their viewers to watch CNN for 30 days and while the result was shocking for Fox News it only verified that RWingers are zombified by watching and listening to the propaganda they continually spew. They need to be careful as they might just be given the t***h!

Political scientists David Broockman and Joshua Kalla decided to try paying a group of regular Fox News viewers to watch CNN for 30 days back in 2020. They took surveys before and after the change, along with a test group that continued to watch Fox News during this time, and the results showed a slight change in specific beliefs in just 30 days.
The right-wingers didn’t exactly turn into Democrats during their short change in viewing habits, but they became less likely to fall for Fox’s fear-mongering and misinformation. For example, the new CNN watchers were 13 points less likely than the control group to believe that electing Joe Biden would lead to a wave of police getting targeted and shot by Black L***s M****r activists. They were also slightly more likely to believe in things like long C***D and that v****g by mail is a positive.
In addition, the viewers that were asked to watch seven hours of CNN each week came to realize that Fox News declined to cover important things that might contradict their overall bias — namely, negative things regarding or said by Donald Trump.
Biases generally aren’t created in just 30 days, and both Fox News and the Trump era have caused more damage than can be undone in such a short amount of time, but the study does seem to prove that some Fox News viewers are still able to be reached with the t***h to some extent. It also suggests that Fox did, in fact, actively make the political divide so much worse rather than simply telling its viewers what they already believed or wanted to hear.
The whole idea left people a little more hopeful.

CNN viewers cannot be reached. They do not want to learn the t***h about Joe and H****r B***n or the lies told about Trump. They lack the courage to face t***h.
