They fixed the baby thing already... Parents are allowed to accompany infected children now... Big outcry about that...
Yesterday a guy was arrested for jogging... Claimed he had no idea Shanghai was under lockdown... Older fellow who doesn't own a TV or a smartphone.... I envy him

The Shanghai government has taken a lot of criticism lately... Very poorly organized and lots of conflicting guidelines...
They actually promised there wouldn't be a citywide lockdown... The three days later locked down the city on six hours notice...
Lots if unprepared people... (Although anyone who didn't stock up on necessities is an i***t in my opinion)

Ah... Yes, government positions are mostly restricted to party members...Although not all are members of the CCP...
The CCP has various factions... Or did... The became pretty United under Xi...
In the municipal government the rivalry isn't usually that intense...
