A question for the males of OPP

Notice I said males, not men, thus allowing a certain segment of the Males to participate.
This AM the news was full of the Will Smith slap incident at the Oscars.
It appears the precipitating cause was a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair style.
My question is why would Mr. Smith so humiliate himself by defending his adulteress wife? She has publicly stated she has had sexual relations, outside her marriage, and plans to continue thusly.
Why would a man so degrade himself by not only committing battery, but remain in a marriage with an adulteress?

My guess is that you believe a real man would never allow this, correct? But I'll bet you believe that a real man would smack someone for insulting his wife.
You are judging who the woman is according to your narrow minded beliefs, rather than the situation and was it right regardless of the people involved.
Why would you care or be bothered about people that have sex with others outside of their marriage? It doesn't do any harm to you, isn't that a bit controlling of you...
and it was not a "hairstyle" it is because of a medical condition.
