A child can't decide they're parents or place of birth. Some people claim different ethnicities because of some monetary advantage but your genes are cast in stone (unlike your opinions). "Race Is a categorization of humans based on shared physical or social qualities into groups generally viewed as distinct within a given society". So your saying humans can decide their physical characteristics, being taller or shorter or deciding the color of their skin? As far as sexual preference, people are attracted to those they wish and as long as it doesn't harm another, it's only their business. You get to decide for you and your child to one day they decide for themselves. Whether you agree (with their decision) will determine if they ever speak with you again.
