Selective Service’s New Tweet Raises Speculation A Draft Is On The Horizon

A recent tweet by the Selective Service has many users on Twitter speculating that a draft could be issued in the near future.

For reference, the Selective Service by definition “is an independent agency of the United States government that maintains information on those potentially subject to military conscription (i.e., the draft) and carries out contingency planning and pr********ns for two types of the draft: a general draft based on registration lists of men aged 18–25, and a special-sk**ls draft based on professional licensing lists of workers in specified health care occupations”.

Most states automatically put peoples’ names into the Selective Service database when they apply for their driver’s license.

Well, a recent tweet by the Selective Service hinted that due to the current uprising in Ukraine a draft may not be that far out of reach

👍👍👍👍 Honestly that might be a component. Also, enlistments may be way down, due to the new "wokeness" in the military and the v*****e mandates. Cuz probably 70% or more recruits are conservatives. And conservatives aren't going to sign up for nonsense. IMO

I believe that everyone should donate at least 2 years to the betterment of this country. If not in the military then there are other ways to help this country. Many people would be better off doing this instead of going from HS to college. Then they should be a little more mature in making choices.

I believe that when many people go from HS to college they end up borrowing money for courses that will never help them pay back the student loan.
