I have personally seen, but not experienced the efficacy of a cast iron sk**let applied to a 'hard head'.

My mother, bless her departed soul, was known for her short and fiery temper. My brother-in-law once put it tl a test, much to his everlasting chagrin. He somehow 'irritated' my mother while she was visiting the grandchildren. She picked up the sk**let from the stove, fortunately, it hadn't had a flame under it at the time, and cold cocked said brother-in-law up side the head. It took about ten anxious minutes to revive him. He went out of his way in the future to not 'irritate' her again. True story.

You would undoubtedly have been great compatriots, with one exception: language. She could put a longshoreman to shame when really provoked.

I certainly hope you don't use it up side his head right off the stove as it probably has hot grease in it
