I have always felt that this lifetime was like a sabbatical for me. I have never been out of of debt but I have been luck many times. When I see what is coming I wonder what challenges await.

Remember when mortgages were 18-28% in the late 70s early 80s? Probably why I never owned a house

I got luck and was able to assume an 11% mortgage. Forced sale, because no one was buying or selling houses unless they had to. The vendor had to move.
