If such is the case, why do you feel the need to, attempt, hijacking a devotional forum?

Perhaps you should listen to your deity!

Timothy 2: 11

I permit no woman to teach or have no authority over man, she is to keep silent.

I sent you to my picture of Jesus because He looks alive, and His eyes speak to me. Your picture, which I have seen and agree He probably did look more like that - in your picture He is dead, none of it speaks to me.

You have quoted Jefferson before, but he had many quotes you have purposely skipped over any where he does give credit to a supreme being. That said, unfortunately, religion, as such, is all over the map today.

I don't preach religion, and I won't shove the Bible down your throat. You have to find what is in your heart, not what you are told. You have to rise above reason to find God. I have found Him, but I still have a loooooooong way to go, and then some.

No you haven't found him or her, you believe, which is far from found!

How can you judge what I have found when you don't know me? Yes, I believe He is, but there is more to faith than just believing that God is.

You are having a fine Bible study with Raylan. He is a very good student of the Bible. We all need to pray he uses it to witness to his friends on his threads.

Yes, and so is Satan - in fact, he undoubtedly knows the Bible better than any of us.

I have come to the conclusion that Raylan is just 'baiting,' how sad. Even if he does know the Bible, apparently he will not use it fruitfully.

If past experiences with this person are still the same I fear you are right. His approach in quoting the verses he used were quite evident that he was trying to belittle women.

One cannot cherry pick any book because context is so important. What a wonderful world we could have if the simple, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" was the law of the land.

There are quite a few woman who had important roles - Dorcas, as a disciple is only one. I noticed he ignored that.
