I wonder what happens to the space station and the occupants? Are there still Americans up there?

I believe there are several Americans and Russians up there and maybe a few others. A mix.

But I have tried to point this out in the last few weeks. We agree with and work with the Russians in building the space Station, manning the Space Station and t***sporting people and supplies to the Space Station. It was obama who k**led the Space Shuttle that the Americans used and until private industry stepped up with new shuttles to the Space Station, the Americans used the Russian equipment. All in full and peaceful cooperation at all times.

Why mention this. Because the Russians don't want a cold war or a hot war with the west and were fully ready to cooperate on such missions as the Space Station. If anything, it is just as much the west as the east in confrontations and lack of cooperation in totally free open trade, travel and investment that could have created a wonderful free trade and cooperating network in Europe and northern Asia (Russia).

It has been NATO who keeps expanding closer and closer to Russia in trying to encircle them, that is one of the greatest reasons for this war. Another reason is the constant demonizing of Putin, the man. If you do it long enough and hard enough, you can make it happen. Instead, we could have tried to treat him as not evil until proven and give him and Russia a chance. After WWII, we went to Germany and Japan and rebuilt them and made them among our strongest allies. Wouldn't some effort with Russia been worth it to prevent today. NATO should have been abandoned over 20 years ago. If anything, the former Russian satellites should have joined together in their own, non NATO alliance, a buffer between NATO and Russia, and a political force of their own and economic force of its own.

Logically Right

Meanwhile Russia's space chief said he could crash the space station into the US if he wanted to, there was a stupid thing to say.

I think the scientists involved only care about the jobs they are supposed to do
