For those who ask: “Why does Ukraine matter? “
This is why Ukraine matters.
It is the second largest country by area in Europe by area and has a population
of over 40 million - more than Poland.
Ukraine ranks:
1st in Europe in proven recoverable reserves of uranium ores;
2nd place in Europe and 10th place in the world in terms of titanium ore reserves;
2nd place in the world in terms of explored reserves of manganese ores (2.3 billion tons, or 12% of the world's reserves);
2nd largest iron ore reserves in the world (30 billion tons);
2nd place in Europe in terms of mercury ore reserves;
3rd place in Europe (13th place in the world) in shale gas reserves (22 trillion cubic meters)
4th in the world by the total value of natural resources;
7th place in the world in coal reserves (33.9 billion tons)
Ukraine is an important agricultural country:
1st in Europe in terms of arable land area;
3rd place in the world by the area of black soil (25% of world's volume);
1st place in the world in exports of sunflower and sunflower oil;
2nd place in the world in barley production and 4th place in barley exports;
3rd largest producer and 4th largest exporter of corn in the world;
4th largest producer of potatoes in the world;
5th largest rye producer in the world;
5th place in the world in bee production (75,000 tons);
8th place in the world in wheat exports;
9th place in the world in the production of chicken eggs;
16th place in the world in cheese exports.
Ukraine can meet the food needs of 600 million people.
Ukraine is an important industrialised country:
1st in Europe in ammonia production;
Europe's 2nd’s and the world’s 4th largest natural gas pipeline system;
3rd largest in Europe and 8th largest in the world in terms of installed capacity of nuclear power plants;
3rd place in Europe and 11th in the world in terms of rail network length (21,700 km);
3rd place in the world (after the U.S. and France) in production of locators and locating equipment;
3rd largest iron exporter in the world
4th largest exporter of turbines for nuclear power plants in the world;
4th world's largest manufacturer of rocket launchers;
4th place in the world in clay exports
4th place in the world in titanium exports
8th place in the world in exports of ores and concentrates;
9th place in the world in exports of defence industry products;
10th largest steel producer in the world (32.4 million tons).
Ukraine matters. That is why its independence is important to the rest of the world.

Can't understand why so many are enamored with Putin and Xi. I guess the Russians and Chinese owning most of the minerals and computer chips we need are a great idea.

Xi not so much but Putin is admirable as a leader and a person who says what he means and means what he says, well liked by a greater percentage of his country than our current leader, and has a united country, at the very least.

My question is why are we backing the Ukraine authoritarian who jailed his opposition candidate, jailed the leaders of the opposition party and shut down media outlets who were negative or reported negative things about him?? Not to mention they have been shelling these Russian separatists for years now in the eastern region. And truly, just how different is this Ukrainian regime than the Biden regime and the l*****t democrats who are his base????? Not to mention how this Ukrainian regime in cahoots with Biden have shut down efforts to stop corruption in the most corrupt country on the planet, almost!!

I don't trust any favorability poll out of either country. Hell you can't trust most of the polls in our country. The President of the Ukraine isn't my idea of a pro Democratic Republic, but then neither is Biden. We should back the Ukraine simply because looking weak to a tyrant invites more tyranny. Putin is smart. There's a reason he waited for slow Joe to be elected. After the disaster in Afghanistan he had to be emboldened. Ukraine is corrupt. Putin, more so.
Putin is our enemy. always was and will be. Same as Xi. Trying to figure these guys out using a "Western" mind set won't work. Just watched a Russian tank run over a car load of civilians. War crime. Have you never read or listened to Putins comments? The Ukraine has no vision of expanding into the Baltic states. Putin does and has admitted it.

Some might be true but here is the flip side of that which is also very important to humanity and the world.

- Ukraine doesn't have legitimate border line to be called a country. To be recognized as a sovereign country it must have a proper border. All countries involved are aware of that. Part of Russia was taken and giving to Ukraine because of politics under USSR regime.
- Ukraine is a pure CLIENT STATE of the US State Department in most part called the Deep State.
- Ukraine is the most corrupted country in Europe.
- Ukraine is controlled and used by the g*******t cabal for all their criminal activities such as Children and sex trafficking ... thru ... drugs & arms trafficking, money laundering...etc... And most of countries in the worlds know that.

These are just a few examples of what Ukraine is and this could be why no country wants to be involved with including the US because it is a hot spot no one wants to touch it.

The sad part is that the innocent people are the victims of the corrupt politicians and the cabal agenda that want to control the world.

I have been studying Putin for some time now, back even into my service days. Know your enemy, right?

He's a serious right wing conservative with visions of grandeur for the Russian people. He is them and they are he, for the most part. Their history demands strength as if they have collective memory. They celebrate the past Russian tragedies and seek to avoid them, if not avenge them. It is who they are.

This Ukraine president has been shelling these Russian separatists relentlessly for years now. He has not dealt fairly or kindly with them either. He is an authoritarian dictator wanna be like Biden, only he thinks he can actually be one. Biden is just stupid and tries to act like one with his mandates and grandiose demands, like the one he placed on Ukraine to get rid of Shokin, the corruption policeman seeking to expose Biden and Burisma.

So yes, I have been listening to Putin for a long time now. Putin is seeking to retake Russians who are cut off by the USSR break up. It doesn't include countries who don't have sizable Russian nationals already within their borders. Putin is also an avid anti--Islamiphobe but he appreciates their dedication to their beliefs. He will use them but will not let them cut off his people's heads.

All I am saying in total is that we aren't going to stop him and we should stop pretending to. And we need to make sure Biden doesn't try to do something stupid to try to save face for being now seen as weak and immaterial.
