#1 Trump never said he "supports" Putin. He simply said that Puitn was "Savvy" as not to allow US forces to install military bases along his border. Unlike our current leader, Putin isn't a baffoon. The rest is just MSM Propaganda.
It's one thing to respect an advisory, it's another to support him.
#2 The Sanctions imposed on Russia means little in comparison to how it will effect the U.S. and its allies. Russia already has a secured deal with China (who, if you noticed aren't condemning the actions of Russia, nor are they planning on following any sanctions imposed), not to mention Russia isn't 30 trillion in debt, but instead have a rather large surplus of funds (not to mention a hell of a War chest in gold holdings that they have been amassing over the last decade). Unfortunately, Russia can ride out wh**ever we throw at them...but can Europe/our Allies?
#3 the initial move into Iraq was with bipartisan support.
