Wasn't this one of the ranks of r****ded police officers that intended to use their stun gun, but "inadvertently" had their gun instead...however something that stupid happens?

The perp would be alive had he not resisted arrest so i have no sympathy for him. Potter had to make a split second decision grabbing for her taser and messed up. I feel sorry for her, not the perp.

The sentence is consistent with current jurisprudence prescribed by the l*****t DA's of most major cities. Do
you think this case should attract severe carceral punishment because the perp is a middle-aged white woman?

Do you struggle with the concept that sympathy can exist for both sides...

Not that I have sympathy for either...
One was poorly trained and should never have been on the streets...
The other was trash that should have been raised better...

Do you feel the same way about Alec Baldwin? A person is dead directly because of his negligence and stupidity. I personally have empathy for the family. They lost a sibling, son and he was a baby daddy. Never mind that he was also a thug with illegal possession of a weapon warrants and a record of violent crimes, he was still a young man with a family. The woman that Baldwin shot also had a family. The officer that k**led the young man stated she made a mistake with the wrong weapon and has repeatedly expressed remorse and sorrow and has never denied she pulled the trigger. I have empathy to her because she has to live with the fact she has k**led someone while making a split second decision in the line of duty. Baldwin k**led someone negligently in front of witnesses and is denying any responsibility and there has been virtually no backlash on him. He’s already working on another film and has his podcast up and running. I just get tired of the double standards.

FYI The family of the guy that resisted the police had no part in this. unless they raised him in a way that enabled his behavior. I reserve any sympathy for him or family.

What about G****e F***d's family? What did they do for him as his teachers and mentors? He was using illegal drugs and passing out counterfeit money. Where should the sympathy lay? Does it lay with B*M as a joke on them?

Show me someone who never made a mistake and I’ll show you someone who never did anything meaningful. I think woodguru falls into that category & expects all police officers to be as perfect as he/she is. That police officer was not stupidl and negligent, she was human & made a tragic mistake. I CAN NOT empathize with the family of Daunte Wright for defending someone who stupidly and negligently broke the law & caused that fatal mistake.

Agreed. A tragic mistake that most anyone of us could make, under the certain conditions. Someone said she was poorly trained, but I do not believe that is supported by facts. Regardless, she will tormented with this for the rest of her life.
