UPDATE: Peter passed away last night at 11:40 pm. He was made comfortable and was not in pain at the end.

He spoke of his fellow posters often, and enjoyed the thought-provoking conversations. I know that his goal was to encourage everyone to think for themselves, don't blindly accept was is being spewed out for public consumption. I hope he was, at least, partially successful.

My condolences to you at this time...

JW will be missed greatly... Some of my favorite exchanges were with him... He had a nimble mind and a great desire to engage on topics...

He was also a caring person who would at times share personal stories, many of which demonstrated the strength of his character and nobility of his spirit..

We once became so entangled over a single point that I went to the trouble of contacting the polish embassy just to get confirmation supporting my argument.... He had a pretty daring reply even for that

I'm sure that you're (Doreen) far more aware of it than I ever could be, but JW (Peter) was very grateful for his life, and for the people like yourself who fulfilled it...

May Peter be as blessed in the next life as he was in this... 🙏🙏🙏

My sincere sympathy and empathy to you Doreen. He was a family member on this forum and will be greatly missed. We can be comforted by knowing that he is now comfortable, in peace and love, in his eternal being
as an intrinsic part of all that is.

I am so sorry to hearing that. My deepest condolences to you Doreen, and the rest of (JW), Peter's family. I am sure God loves him. May the Lord grant him peace, and let God's perpetual light shine upon him. RIP Peter. We will miss you at OPP.

Is JW a Christian? It does not matter. I still offer my faithful prayers to God for him.
