Putin may or may not invade. It is always better to prepare based on your enemies capabilities than on what you think his intentions are. Saying that Russia is planning a false f**g incident as a pretext publicly is likely to preclude them from doing it, because it will be too obvious, so it is a good idea to tell it even if the intelligence is shaky.

I detest Biden and what he has been doing to the country, but I am with him on this issue.

Taiwan is another story; a Chinese invasion would likely destroy their chip making plants and plunge the world into a recession. I would favor recognizing Taiwan and signing a defense treaty and immediately placing American forces there as a tripwire. The presence of Americans has stabilized Korea for 69 years without real conflict.
