How so?

Roe v Wade was a SCOTUS ruling, not a bill passed by both houses of Congress and signed into law by the POTUS.

The decision was based on the due process clause of the 14th amendment which provides a "right to privacy" that supposedly protects a pregnant woman's right to choose whether to have an a******n, or as the saying goes, "the right to control her body".

If a woman has the right to control her body, would this not also include her right to control her sexual urges
and, in doing so, prevent the possibility of pregnancy altogether?

The Roe v Wade decision was not only unconstitutional (9th Amendment), it was immoral, unjust, and opened the door for industrialized genocide.

In a highly cited Yale Law Journal article published in the months after the decision, the American legal scholar John Hart Ely strongly criticized Roe as a decision that was disconnected from American constitutional law:

What is frightening about Roe is that this super-protected right is not inferable from the language of the Constitution, the framers' thinking respecting the specific problem in issue, any general value derivable from the provisions they included, or the nation's governmental structure. The problem with Roe is not so much that it bungles the question it sets itself, but rather that it sets itself a question the Constitution has not made the Court's business. Roe is bad because it is bad constitutional law, or rather because it is not constitutional law and gives almost no sense of an obligation to try to be.

American constitutional law scholar Laurence Tribe had similar thoughts: "One of the most curious things about Roe is that, behind its own verbal smokescreen, the substantive judgment on which it rests is nowhere to be found."

PPH picked up the RvW ball and, in capitalizing on selling the remains of aborted babies for research, carried it far beyond the goal post. Many of the experiments with aborted baby parts would please Joseph Mengele.

Regardless of your personal opinion which I don't care to read about, the ruling and the reruling of the ruling remain.

If this crop of conservative justices gut Roe vs. Wade I will be very happy because then womens v**es will turn to the other side as they have every single time conservatives attack women and their rights which have been settled law for over 40 yrs. It is going to be hard to take this right away after all of this time.

No couple that with the attacks on the ability of colored peoples to v**e the womens issue will make it an even stronger lock to lose the e******n across the board. I like it! Do it! I dare ya!

Wrong. Women are divided on whether there is a right to the depravity that is a******n

Don’t be so shallow. It wouldn’t be an ‘attack’ on women. Interesting you again repeat l*****t propaganda.

Hard to wrap one's mind around the idea that the biggest carrot for female v**ers is the right to murder their unborn...

He also thinks b****s need the Democrats if they don't want to lose their v****g rights

It will be interesting how this assault on Roe vs. Wade goes. I'm all for it. I love the fact that Republicans have painted themselves in the corner with the Evangelical wants. It sure has nothing to do with the morality of the rest of the crowd. Republicans have proven they have no moral that doesn't benefit them and those are temporary until the next best thing comes around.

I'm not anti a******n.... It's a necessary evil...

But I despise how it is now viewed as some sort of noble practice... And how neo-feminism coopted it....

I don't see it as being adopted as a noble practice but I do see it as a situation where ownership of the body should be 99% of the law. She deserves to make her own choices for wh**ever reason. Religion and the State don't belong in it.

How about people who opt towards suicide???

Here's an easy one... If an individual doesn't want an experimental compound injected into their bodies, should they have the right to refuse????

I have viriologists in my family and Sars Cov 2 v*****es which is the family from whence the current v*****es come from were born have been worked on for a number of years before all this happened so no. This is not as you say like they whipped it up in someones kitchen overnight.

Now the arguing points that come after that are another thing but you do remember we were in the midst and still are of world p******c that was made political.

Every child who goes to school in the US takes a number of v*****es in order to be able to attend.

Are we now going to revisit that and allow disease in amongst our children? This is also a government mandate is it not?

When this became political it became an issue and there was no winning this argument even though the hospitals were overflowing with cases we didn't have the ability to treat.

If you're a Star Trek fan this is the (Kobiashi Maru)=the no win scenario and its a scenario that each of us has to encounter in business of any kind.

I'm not saying bad decisions weren't made but I am saying that there has been sillyness in the politicalization of it there has also been graft we created when Citizens United brought mega money into politics through dark pacs... now the drug companies want paid back for their investments and they demanded the funding go into v*****es.

So folks can just raise hell all they want. This is the result of the politics and the government they have supported.

I took my shot. I don't give a rats ass if anyone else does or not. I love my family and if I die from this damn shot when I've been beat around by life a whole lot worse than a little jab that a lot of research went into. If they don't want to work, they made the decision they can go get another job. If they don't want the shot do they still get to clog up the health care system for others?

Its some really silly stuff if you ask me.
