I was reading a story this morning about a report concerning the current administration's diversion of $30M in c***d funds to pay for crack pipes for crack- and meth-heads in underserved communities. It seems Snopes, the fact-checker which decides who and what is allowed to post on Twitter and Facebook, agreed that everything in the original story was completely correct but labeled it 'Mostly False' because, well, they can. As an aside, now that this particular insanity has been exposed, the administration has decided not to include crack pipes in the kit of drug paraphernalia they're handing out, so Snopes has changed its rating to 'Outdated'.
The l*****t lying from Snopes isn't surprising and is barely newsworthy, but the original story got me thinking, why do we call the communities these funds are going to 'underserved'?
Underserved would mean they get less than most other communities in regards to help from the government. But they don't. In fact, they're overserved, way overserved. These are the communities where most everybody is on welfare and dozens of other government-handout programs, and have been for generations. They get free rent, free utilities, free food, free childcare (despite not working), free phones with free plans, free internet and free spending money among other freebies. Additionally, more recently, they are allowed to shoplift without consequences whenever they get enough ambition and motivation. These communities are not underserved, they are underperforming.
The communities that are underserved are the taxpayers supporting the underperforming.

Thirty million program and the right zeros in on the possibility that a safety device for drug smokers may be supplied to someone.

This came directly from the Dept. of Health & Human Services. Either they lied of Biden and Peppermint Patty (Jenn [Patooti] Psaki) are lying. That's how most misinformation gets started...someone in the Biden Admin lies.

You should look at the actual source, not who they claim to quote.
