But if it is a must, it especially should have someone of Lieutenant status going along. For blame and oversight.
What I have a problem with is when they have a search warrant searching a private residence, not for a violent criminal, but just papers and computers and such. Knock. Show the warrant allowing time to read it. Allowing time to get a lawyer. Make sure there is no violent suspects wandering about. Make sure all people within are treated with respect, clothed or allowed to dress, treat kids nicely and never get aggressive with parents when not necessary, and in front of the kids. Even handcuffing parents in front of kids is a bad idea. Then the searching can begin, with one person only, going through wh**ever is necessary, and under the persons supervision to make sure they only search and confiscate exactly what is in the warrant, and not every damn thing in the house including your dirty laundry. Respect. They haven't been convicted of anything yet.
