The US Constitution provides the working framework for a government by the people and for the people. The last 150 years have seen that erode into what we see in Washington, DC today. Our Founding Fathers would shake their head in despair at the mess WE HAVE ALLOWED this once great Country to sink to.

I have been actively Conservative for the last 40 years - have watched the changes of the "guard" - Democratic control, Republican control, mixed control BUT NOTHING CHANGES. As voters try to change the direction this Country has taken for the last century - NOTHING CHANGES. The liberal Democrats and the liberal Republicans (RINOs) are installing THEIR AGENDA in place of the US Constitution. Political campaigns are keyed to getting votes (tell you what you want to hear). feeding voters lies and promises - getting elected and then telling us to "shove it". The "liberal elite" along with their well trained followers have a well organized plan to keep Conservatives in splinter groups - throwing "stone" at each other - that way they CAN NOT ORGANIZE to become an effective VOTING BLOCK. If Conservatives could agree to concentrate on what it takes to WIN ELECTIONS - the Liberals would be outvoted. All the individual groups - conservatives, tea party, etc with all the individual "rights" that they are fighting for - do not mean a thing and nothing will change until we can ELECT CONSERVATIVES. It is time to put our individual groups aside (religion, gun control, women's rights, health care, etc) - none of these will mean anything if we continue to let liberals install their agenda. By electing Conservatives WE CAN CHANGE THE DIRECTION OF OUR COUNTRY.

Most Conservatives can agree on basic principles:
1. Smaller government (less government control)
2. Economy and jobs - get economy moving forward
3. Control and pay down National Debt
4. National security and controlled borders
5. Less taxes with a fair tax system.

With a platform that MOST CONSERVATIVES SUPPORT - WE CAN WIN ELECTIONS - THEN deal with the laws that infringe on our individual rights.

Christians made this great country and Christians are the only people that can bring it back to the good days. No republican or democrat will bring it back. Just for the record I am a republican.

Man do you have it right. I would say, Balance the budget. This forum should have at least the post you are replying to shown. And do they expect me to stick around and wait for a reply? They need a "Notice of Reply" button like BBC has.

It seems like people are conservative. I like that, flag the trolls.
I suppose we should start a list of Conservatives like Ron Paul, audit the Fed, balance the budget, stop the unconstitutional wars, bring the troops home, protect our borders, make hemp legal, don't lie, respect private property, don't spend what you don't have, close the nation building military bases overseas, get rid of the income tax, the inheritance tax, the tax on savings, dividends and the corporate tax, I would do anything to lower the taxes, we don't need a big federal government. Stop the bailouts. No amnesty and we shouldn't be giving away free medical, schooling or the right to vote to non-citizens. Get rid of RINO's. No voter cheating like in Tampa, remove the person in charge if voter fraud is found.

Ron Paul said, 8-28-12, "Our R3VOLUTION will not end until limited government, free markets, sound money, and respect for individual liberty, constitutional principles, and a pro-America foreign policy are finally restored in America."

Shut down Wall Street and put in place a Hamiltonian credit system to ally the United States with the BRICS.
Reinstate the Glass-Steagall Act.

Sounds good to me. I don't think that much is really broken, except for almost all the self serving people we voted in who are 'serving' us. ha! If the laws were followed, we would be more familiar with this now, unfamiliar country. Sometimes I start having this crazy thought, like what if they are all just actors hired to appease the voters until they can get their utopia' or Martial Law started. It was said by someone I once read, 'We will come in among you and be one with you'. (Rhino/communists). What is so unclear about...ALL Legislative Power belongs to the Congress? ALL! The Supreme Court, all courts in fact are only there to interpret law, not create new laws. The Congress can override the SCOTUS, the POTUS and any individual(s) they choose. That is Their Job! I can't imagine what they're thinking...have their lives been threatened? Their families lives? Are they just power hungry/greedy enough to destroy America? Will a secret fetish or embarrassing deadly sin be trumpeted out by the press if they do their job? Have they been promised a great new leadership position in the upcoming new government? Or maybe millions have been deposited into a numbered Swiss bank account for them, for when the trigger goes off. I can't imagine what would cause hundreds of 'so called' leaders to lie just to get their job and to continue throwing out the most successful 'foundation/blueprint' a country has ever been built on. Unbelievable! Yet it gets more bizarre by the day.

Or maybe I do know...maybe... their eyes have been blinded so they can't see and their hearing dulled, so they can't hear. That's really all that makes sense to me.

It is changing Mary, we are electing real conservatives now and replacing RINO's each time their term comes up. That kind of voting has never been done before.

The only for this country to get back to a truly Constitutional government is to drag every last on of the Washington Politicians out into the streets and lynch them all! After that being done, ban all liars....ahhh...lawyers from holding office.
