State's Rights to rule for their people - not over them.
If you like what Blue States v**e for and the way a Blue State counts the v**es - move there.
Same applies to Red States - move there.
Not all States are alike, that's very evident. One shoe does not fit all. If it doesn't fit don't force it.
Remember America is not like Royal Canada and your Queen.
V****g is a guaranteed Constitutional right and mandated to the states power and enforcement, that simple.. You don’t abrogate that Constitution right or look to shred it in the face of diversity!! You enforce it as is required!!..
Would this be viable??
Uniform federal e******n law should contain the following with regard to v****g:
I.D.: A citizen 18 years of age or older shall produce a valid photo I.D. from an approved federal or state agency to r******r to v**e or to v**e. Photo-I.D. has become a necessity post 9/11. You need one to enter a federal building, get on an aircraft, obtain government benefits, etc.;
Registration: An eligible citizen to v**e may register at anytime but within 2 weeks of a federal e******n by appearing in person at a authorized federal or state office and making application;
V****g: An eligible v**er may appear at their designated polling place from 7am -9pm on the day of a federal e******n;
Early V****g: An eligible v**er may v**e no earlier than 2 weeks before a federal e******n at their designated early v****g location between the hours of 10am-4pm;
Absentee V****g: An eligible v**er upon the showing of good cause shall be entitled to v**e by absentee b****t provided they petition for a absentee b****t in person at the designated place no more than 1 month and no less than 2 weeks before a federal e******n.
V****g Machines: V****g machines shall be uniform in federal e******ns.
A uniform standard shall be established to insure 1 v****g machine for X number of registered v**ers at a polling place.
V****g protocols: There shall be uniform federal rules and protocols for v**er I.D., culling of v**er rolls, registration, v****g, poll watching, v****g machines, eligibility, timing, locations, tallying, reporting, challenges, recounts, certifications, candidate eligibility, forms etc.
We can’t even get agreement over ID requirements lest the rest.. whovwoukd employ the changes and how many years to ratify what authority is given by the Constitution to the states?? Would it be just for Federal e******ns or all state and federal???
All sounds practical but will never happen at least in this lifetime~~~
