Washington (CNN)The Department of Justice revealed in a court filing late Friday that it has two dozen emails related to President Donald Trump's involvement in the withholding of millions in security assistance to Ukraine -- a disclosure that came just hours after the Senate v**ed against subpoenaing additional documents and witnesses in Trump's impeachment trial, paving the way for his acquittal.

The filing, released near midnight Friday, marks the first official acknowledgment from the Trump administration that emails about the President's thinking related to the aid exist, and that he was directly involved in asking about and deciding on the aid as early as June. The administration is still blocking those emails from the public and has successfully kept them from Congress.
A lawyer with the Office of Management and Budget wrote to the court that 24 emails between June and September 2019 -- including an internal discussion among DOD officials called "POTUS follow-up" on June 24 -- should stay confidential because the emails describe "communications by either the President, the Vice President, or the President's immediate advisors regarding P**********l decision-making about the scope, duration, and purpose of the hold on military assistance to Ukraine."
Trump's decision to withhold nearly $400 million in US military aid to Ukraine as he pressed the country to investigate H****r B***n and Joe Biden, his potential 2020 general e******n rival, are at the center of the President's impeachment trial. Trump and his allies have repeatedly made unfounded and false claims to allege that the Bidens acted corruptly in Ukraine.

A video recording of the entire 80-minute dinner at the Trump Hotel in Washington was obtained Saturday by The Associated Press. Excerpts were first published Friday by ABC News. People can be seen in only some portions of the recording.

The recording contradicts the president’s statements that he did not know the Giuliani associates Lev Parnas or Igor Fruman, key figures in the investigation who were indicted last year on campaign finance charges.

The recording came to light as Democrats continued to press for witnesses and other evidence to be considered during the impeachment trial.

On the recording, a voice that appears to be Parnas’ can be heard saying, “The biggest problem there, I think where we need to start is we got to get rid of the ambassador.”

He later can be heard telling Trump: “She’s basically walking around telling everybody, ‘Wait, he’s gonna get impeached. Just wait.’”

Trump responds: “Get rid of her! Get her out tomorrow. I don’t care. Get her out tomorrow. Take her out. OK? Do it.”

...She was trying to "stop" r****rs? People spreading lies have obviously not seen the videos, it would be impossible to give an intelligent explanation of how she was going to stop r****rs by going through a window of the doors the r****rs were trying to break down. What, she was going to climb through the window, open the doors, and yell stop right now?

This idea that someone who is credibly part of the mob mentality was being some sort of hero by trying to stop the r****rs, who was given plenty of warning to stop climbing through the window by a cop who had a gun pointed at her as he told her to stop coming through the window. She got what she had coming, and it sure as hell woke up her Komrades and gave them something to think about...like who wanted the next bullet to the head.

I suggest you see the Frontline PBS on American Insurection.
You can clearly see her in the vidio trying to break into the legislative chamber while congressmen were in there. You can clearly hear a c*****l p****eman yelling the croud to stand back. He had a pistol drawn and aimed at the croud. If the r****rs had sucerded in breaching the door, there would have been major bloodshead. The officer did the right thing. After she was shot, the r****rs fell back, allowing congressmen to escape. See for yourself. Its on the internet, I van get it from a PBS service on my TV.
