I have to admire the C****e Left, they never give up, dam the Constitution.

H.R. 5746’s provisions copied from the “Freedom to V**e Act,” it would:

force each state to provide automatic v***r r**********n for everyone with a driver’s license;
mandate that states provide online v***r r**********n;
require states to provide same-day v***r r**********n;
force states to provide at least 15 consecutive days of early v****g, including two weekends;
make v**e-by-mail and b****t drop boxes nationwide policies;
weakens states’ ability to clean up v**er rolls (despite Senator Klobuchar’s press release claiming otherwise);
expands “v****g access” to “underserved communities,” which likely v**e primarily for the Democrat Party; and
unconstitutionally limits state legislatures from redrawing congressional districts as they see fit.

Among H.R. 5746’s provisions copied from the John R. Lewis V****g Rights Advancement Act, it would:

reestablish a “preclearance” process that forces the states to gain permission from the U.S. Department of Justice before implementing any changes in their e******n laws. This “preclearance” process would be even broader and more draconian than what existed under the 1965 V****g Rights Act before the Supreme Court struck it down in 2013.
change Section 2 of the V****g Rights Act, making it easier for left-wing activists and the federal government to take legal action against state e******n laws on the basis of “r****m.”
require states to fully pay for polling places on Indian reservations, despite the federal government’s use of these reservations to assault freedom and subvert state sovereignty.

All of these provisions are unconstitutional, violating Article I, Section 4, of the U.S. Constitution, along with the 10th Amendment. Furthermore, these provisions would give the federal government — particularly executive-branch bureaucrats — unprecedented control over state and local e******ns.

I ask you (well not bad bobby and his mob) to Tell your U.S. senators to oppose H.R. 5746 and every other bill that undermines e******n integrity. Tell them to only support legislation that strengthens integrity and upholds the Constitution.

You could be right if the red states agreed to play by the rules.
But they don’t. As two year olds, they require constant supervision.

Capt, Your reading of the Freedom to V**e Act is right on. I fail to see anything wrong with its provisions. We have never had a situation in which the various state legislatures claim the right to replace democratically elected members of the E*******l College and replace them with e*****rs of their party. This is clearly undemocratic, and unAmerican. As Oliver Wendell Holmes, one of our best Supreme Court Justices once said, " The constitution is not a suicide pact ".

Not to worry. The Red states will follow the rules. The blue states, not so much.

You and your brother in crime saltwind 78, have a total lack of any common sense. But you do get a lot of response from most of our members, which keeps me laughing. lol
