I saw a most prescient episode of the Twilight Zone recently

The episode was called "Obsolete," starring Burgess Meredith, and written by Rod Serling. BM plays a librarian living in a totalitarian society who is called before the Chancellor after an investigation and he is deemed to be obsolete to the State because books no longer exist and he serves no purpose to the state. He will be executed forthwith and he asks to choose the method of his own demise.

If you can find it, I suggest you watch it.

I remember that episode too. I've probably got it recorded. I've got all Twilight Zone episodes marked for recording on Dish Network. Along with Alfred Hitchcock episodes.
