Perhaps you are just another progressive liar. I can't stand Trump. I believe the filibuster rule should either be made permanent or done away with. I was against the tax cut legislation as proposed. Of course they are against Federalizing the e******ns. I hope they stop i***t Joe from passing anything he's proposed so far. Why is it, you sheeple always believe a bill written by these people is in your best interests?

Nope. The Trump tax cut was under reconciliation since it was a fiscal bill.

Number 1 the republicans have no control of the executive and legislative branches of govt. they can do nothing to stop this ,its the one senator that will fight it. IT sounds like maybe you are a Biden wannabe.

Personally I can't stand Trump. I agreed with his policies. I v**ed for him and would v**e for him again. I'm not a Democrat. I can v**e for someone even if I personally find them distasteful. Trump policies were good for the country and good for my taxes.

Trump tried to do what he promised he would. No other previous president has done it like Trump. And he couldn't get bought. The very best part.

I agree. He was politically naive, which was a positive.

It is true, they did away with the filibuster on confirming judges during the Trump administration. But wasn't it a democrat Senate rules change that allowed them to do that???

Just to clarify things a little. Harry Reid, during the obama administration, and with a democrat Senate, did away with the filibuster rule for Judges so obama could flood the judicial system with liberal activist judges over Republican objections.

Then when Trump took over, McConnell kept that rule for judges and pushed through Constitutional Judges over democrat objections. But he also doubled down and added Supreme Court Justices to that so Republicans could appoint Constitutiona Justices to the Supreme Court.

What the democrats started turned around and bit them in their collective asses.

Now they want a repeat.

Winston Churchill once said, "it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.” So then, what is wrong with democracy. When 51 can v**e to take everything they want from 49, democracy fails. To often it gets to the non producers in a majority taking from the producers in a minority. And it gets worse and worse until everything falls apart. The filibuster rule makes it so that it takes more of a super majority to steal from the minority. It protects the minority from tyranny. It has worked for hundreds of years and works well. The democrats have used it often, including fighting against Civil Rights Laws. The filibuster law helps keep America a free country and not subject to the tyranny of 51. The democrats are proving right now what the tyranny of 51 can do if they have the right. If they succeed, watch your freedom fly out the window. If they had a majority of 59 to 41 and this was a national emergency, they might have an argument. And even then, you don't change the rule in the middle of the game. What this is about is the democrats don't even have a majority. It is 50 to 50. They just have the tie breaker. And this bill is no where near a national emergency. It is nothing more then a democrat power grab to help them control e******ns for ever. And that is not in any American's best interest

If you can't survive a wait in line without food or water maybe you should bring your own instead of relying on others to fill your needs.

Please. That lame argument is pathetic. Drink two glasses before you leave home and bring some with you. If you don’t have the capacity to take responsibility for your own hydration maybe you shouldn’t be v****g. Can’t give people water. Ridiculous. This is a non issue.
