Just another way for the left to force its radical agenda on America.

Not just the left.

Republicans are complicit in every act of tyranny the democrats get away with.

Republicans are a complete disappointment and are not at all worth the overblown salaries we pay them.

SinnieK, The questionable Scientific data you write about was the work of the finest scientists in the field. Eighty percent plus of them believe that g****l w*****g is caused by the release of green house gasses. Hell, don't believe those scientists or me. Just ask the people in California about the increasing droughts, and fires every year, or the folks on the Atlantic coast about the hurricanes increasing in both intensity and number, or the fishermen in Alaska about the decreasing salmon and halibut runs every year due to rising water temperatures. Besides the evidence in the US of which I've named just a few, it is a world wide catastrophe. The Sahel in Africa is expanding, the ice sheets in the arctic and ant arctic are melting. Of course the folks of newsmax know so much more than the scientist and others .

The most common mistake made by scientists (especially amateur) is confusing correlation and causation.

wtroxell, As far as caution is concerned, the rise in world wide temperature so far is about two degrees F. It has taken far more time in the past to reach this increase. I don't want my grandchildren to be handed down a planet in ruins. If we continue to experience this kind of rapid change in global warning, there will be permanent damage to the planet, and all it's creatures!

Is it just possible that the AGW scientists have got it wrong? Measured warming has occurred, yes!
Could it really be caused by the fundamental spectrum and variations of radiations from the sun acting on the very high variability of water of all types above and on the earth?
Is it possible that CO2 in the upper atmosphere plays a very minor role in temperature variability on the earth?
Why is it that serious modeling efforts have not tracked very well with the measured temperatures beyond the time of submission of the model data.? Projections that simply run too high.
Do you really believe that by spending trillions we could reduce the CO2 belt and see the temperature rise abate?
Such an effort would be a generational one that our children's children, and their children would not benefit from.
Is it not so that G*******ts are leading the AGW campaign, and see it as a way to further their political ambitions to dominate the globe? They must force all nations to go along with their plans, or they will not succeed.
Is it not also true that the AGW leaders have inhibited other scientists from challenging their assumptions on threat of losing their government financial support? Some tens of thousands of very well-qualified scientists have indeed challenged the common ideas behind AGW, or C*****e C****e (same difference) as stated above.
Alfred N. Whitehead famously said to the effect that when a majority of scientists fully agree on a theory, they have been proven wrong just about every time. The list of known causes for the effects we observe is woefully incomplete throughout scientific domains; we know the what of many things, but not the why. I submit that such is quite possible for AGW/CO2 theories.

You have just shown that you know nothing about earth physics and earth history. But go ahead, keep spewing the malarkey you read, I suspect often written by folks who have a dog in the hunt. Scientists are not, as a group altruistic. 85 million brainiacs v**ed for Biden, look at how wrong they were!

manning, I am not a scientist. I was a special ed. high school history teacher. I admit that I have limited knowledge of science. Thats why I have to believe the guys with Phd. after their name in the various earth sciences. The vast majority claim that this rapid increase is due to green house gasses being the cause of g****l w*****g. I'm not writing about amateurs, but the worlds best scientists. Thats why I'm a true believer in g****l w*****g!

That is a rational approach, especially since to believe the other way requires some knowledge of the sciences involved. But the worrisome thing is that globalization push using AGW as a lever, and now C***d as well. That is a mental Catch 22; we could lose either way, don't you think?

I would ask you who told you the world's best scientists believe in the AGW/CO2 Theory? Who qualified them to be selected World-Class in this particular field? Themselves, or some lesser lights in the field (but possibly high level in their own field, or simply aficionados of AGW with a big stake in the future like Al Gore)? Who excluded some I believe are also World-Class? Could there be some motivation here to have their W-C opinions prevail? Does being for AGE/CO2 Theory give some scientists an edge to be considered World-Class? Altruism and honesty are not evenly distributed in the fractious Science Community when really big money, power and prestige are at stake!
Bandwagon anyone?

Final comment. Over 30,000 qualified scientists signed a statement that they believed the AGW push was false and improper.

And these same 'experts' have been predicting catastrophe for the last 60 - 100 years.

What is different now?
