It's hard to count how many red states have r****d their e*****rate to where they control more republican seats than the population indicates there should be by the split between registered dems and republicans...

Yet that is not good enough, it isn't good enough that they try to refl;ect the populations of their states, they want to keep minority controlled governance.

The worst thing about the e*******l college would be that states award all their e*******ls to the winner even though is is very close to an even race. If they were divided by the v**e spit we would never have even a close race, republicans would never take a p**********l e******n unless they started actually governing for a change.

I'm for doing away with this system as there is nothing democratic about it, in fact it was done to prevent uppity newly freed s***es from ever winning e******ns. The reasons the EC exists do not fly anymore.

Wiley-since there are no quote marks in your caterwauling rant/screed here, we can only assume these are your own personal ideas/thoughts.. reflecting your own despicable r****t attitude(s).. which you predictably keep trying to project (obviously with little to no success) onto everyone you disagree with. You get an 'A' for your relentless effort and a 'F' for content, originality, and substance.

Since the e*******l college goes back to the Constitution, explain your remark.

We don't live in a pure democracy.
We live in a Democratic Republic.

Don't like, then you're going to have to change the Constitution.

Your knowledge of history is almost as lacking as your knowledge of the Constitution. Newly Freed S***es? Newsflash, Woodglue; the Constitution, along with the E*******l College was ratified in 1788. Just when do you think the 13th Amendment was ratified? The Founders never intended us to be a Democracy. I guess you slept through history class; or perhaps you were at an American C*******t Party function of some sort.

How many "uppity newly freed s***es" trying to win e******ns do you think there were in 1776?

Actually the Constitution was not ratified until June 21, 1788. Still a long way from December of 1865. I suppose it depends on your definition of "newly." LOL

You are showing your ignorance regarding the constitution again. The USA is a nation of states not people. The state's, not the people, elect the President and vice president through the e*******l college Rach state having a slate of "e*****rs" as established by the constitution.
