Eh, I can't complain. I finally hit the sweet spot. I've been home an hour and a half while there's still people out on the street delivering. Only 10 1/2 hours today, and I've had more days off already this month than I had from November to January last year.

Hope you've got a cold one cracked...
I'm sitting in a classroom watching students study... My tests were last week, but still required to show up this week... Oh well...

What compromises have the Democrats put out lately??
Apparently you were not paying attention to the recent infrastructure bills and how much they have trimmed off the top? That is compromise

Sounds like watching paint dry..... I'd rather do what I do. I kind of enjoy some of it, actually.
We show up at 6 a.m., and run out packages in the dark, and it gives me joy to hear the dogs in the house go nuts, waking everyone in the house up when I scan them on the porch, and it makes loud beeps.

No... Compromise is giving something they don't want to give... Not trimming down the cost ....

Unfortunately, the days of compromise are long gone with the wind.
There should be absolutely no compromise to tyranny.
And right now the leaders of the Democrat party are blatantly behaving like tyrants.
Attempting to force v******tions on those of us who choose to rely on our own i****e s****ms, is an act of a tyranny.
So we won't be compromising with any democrat sons of witches today........... Goober !

You got that right, Wolf, it is an unbridgeable abyss between our American way of life and the grotesque monster the progs are shoving down our throats. Compromise has no dog in the hunt.

That's awesome
You should rub a little bacon grease in your hands before handling the parcels... Helps to keep the fingers warm don't you know

The build back better bill has been whittled down to where it is a nothing burger and it still won't pass. Meanwhile Diabetics are dying from rationing the insulin they can't afford-just for starters. Any way the metric system sucks and so does Carling beer.

Well written but not flawless.
It seems he wanted to smooth out that both sides do it . They do not.
The right has not c*********d on anything since 1980 when Reagan said the government was the enemy.
To date, all hear hear coming out of their mouths is
Nein ! Nein ! Nein ! Nein! Nein ! Nein !
Nein ! Nein ! Nein ! Nein ! Nein !
How does that work in with compromise???
Because the left is always so obstinate .
400 bills passed by the previous democratic house and sent to McConnell and were never seen again , is this the type of compromise we should try to overcome ?
The left is just such an obstinate bunch.
How many times did Obama try to compromise????
Until he was blue in the face. But he did get things done in spite of the obstruction politics from the right.
We only have one party that is trying to get anything done . It isn’t the tea party it isn’t the republicans …..
Let me think .

Carling Black Label Beer from Canada. Our medical system will remain a joke because there is no compromise. Since The affordable care act was passed one political party in America has done everything they can to destroy it.

Never had that beer... But honestly Tom, what made you think a beer with "Black Label" in its name was going to be decent???
Reminds me of the time my best friend and I bought a case of "Sneaky Weasel" beer... Worst diarrhea ever...Plus the hangover...
You guys need to lower the costs... Not have them covered by the government... China doesn't have universal healthcare..But it caps the prices in medication and subsidizes a lot of medical care (and several life saving medications are covered entirely by the government)... Insurance is also available to anyone who wants to buy it... Pretty affordable... And of course many companies provide it...
The US allows the pharmaceutical companies far too much power... The ACA was just a way to channel even more money towards them...
