I can imagine what motivates democrat politicians and bureaucrats to push certain policies, power, but, what is motivating democrat v**ers? Is it purely “feel” good virtue signaling.

600 thousand known got a ways and untold numbers of unknown got a ways.
Thousands of i*****l i*******ts die trying to get to our southern border.
Over 30% of illegal female migrants are sexually molested on the journey to the border.
Many immigrants are trafficked for forced labor or commercial sexual exploitation.
Young children are abandoned by smugglers to possibly die in the desert.
92% of i*****l m*****ts seeking asylum are economic refugees. Not political refugees.
Many repeat criminals and possible terrorists infiltrate the migrants crossing the border.
Border towns are under siege from the massive influx of i*****l i*******ts dumped in their towns.
C***d is spread across the country k*****g Americans as i******s are t***sported to other states.
Ten of thousands of Americans die of f******l poisoning due to drugs crossing the border.

Democrat v**ers “feel” that we need to help these i*****l a***ns, but, it seems obvious based on the facts listed that helping them, or the country, is not the result. By all appearances the democratic v**er's motivation is purely to make themselves “feel” good while turning a blind eye to all the negatives their virtue signaling is resulting in.

So, democrats, what is your motivation for v****g in these destructive self defeating political policies? Is it purely to make yourselves "feel good" or is there a viable social and economic reason?

The main issue is "remain in Mexico" which the courts have upheld and Biden is still ignoring, rather than "catch and release" which is huge draw for i******s. As far as enforcement being the same, it's not even close.

But you didn't answer my question. What is the democrat v**er's motivation for supporting Bidens immigration policies which are drawing millions to come here other than virtue signaling?

We are a nation of immigrants, they are and have been beneficial far more than detrimental. We desperately need immigration reform to allow many more in following proper channels. This and only this will stem the flow of migrants seeking asylum.

We are a nation of legal immigrants. Not i*****l i*********n. There is a limit on the numbers of immigrants that can be absorbed into society based on economic growth. Anything above that becomes a drain on society and the welfare safety net taking jobs and benefits from US citizens.
