My cat used to love opening the boxes because he thought that wh**ever was in it was for him. But he's getting too old (17) to give two hoots about what's in the box these days - even if is FOR him.

Before our Charlie crossed The Rainbow Bridge, he was too old to open boxes. He just stood and waited for us to open them so he could nap in them.

I love cats. I have several. My biggest problem with them is that my lap isn't big enough to accommodate the ones that want it.

I did and you were right.
I had a female orange tabby Maine Coon for a short time. Her owner died so I took her in until I could find another home for her. She was so smart and bossy. She would sit on the toilet seat when my male tuxedo came in to use the litter box, and she would bop him on the head when he tried to enter. He was confused at first. But the call of nature was stronger.

Lol their so much bigger than the average house cat. He has some black ones that are gorgeous.I love their coats.Probubly a pain to keep up with you'd have to brush them alot.

My neighbor has a Maine Coon and she gets matted if she isn't comb EVERY DAY! She can be nasty to you if you're in her house, but she is sweet as can be if she's out in the hall.
