I don't know how Alec The Kid got a gun that was so smart yet evil that it levitated and shot a woman dead without any human assistance. This is the first smart weapon and it evolved on its own.
Alec The Kid had nothing to do with it. In his next interview, after rehearsals so that no one bursts out laughing, Alec The Kid will say that he wasn't even on the set that day.
I tried. I talked to my guns and the dummies just laid there looking as inanimate as a rock.
Alec The Kid has something there. He should share the science with the military.

I just tried to talk to some of mine also, and they are dumb too. I tried to tell the one on my side, come out of my holster and it didn't even budge.

How clever of you, but here is a better description. A moron walks into a store and buys an auto loading hand gun with high capacity magazines with no more difficulty than picking up a six pack of beer. He then leaves it available to his mentally ill child who takes it to school and blasts a bunch of his classmates. If you are really stupid you will conclude that nothing could have been done to prevent this and focus on protecting any fools ability to easily acquire dangerous deadly weapons as opposed to protecting children from needless preventable deaths.

They just had an interview with Baldwin on Hannity. Now he's saying he pulled the hammer back and it slipped from his thumb and fired. If the sear is filed down and the gun is fixed for fanning fire, I reckon it's possible. But I'm sure the police will check the gun out very good.

A Colt SAA does not have to be modified for fanning fire. All you have to do is aim the pistol, put pressure on the trigger, pull back the hammer and let it go. Keep pressure on the trigger and fan away.

The pistol in question is an Italian made (Pietta) Colt 45 SAA replica. Some members of the production crew used it for live target practice. They experienced two accidental discharges which should have been a red f**g that the gun was defective.

If a SAA revolver has seen extensive use, as is most likely the case with movie prop guns, the trigger sear and/or any of the three hammer notches may be worn sufficiently or even broken which renders the gun unsafe. The sear does not have to be filed down for this to happen.

A worn, damaged, or broken trigger sear is the main culprit, it will not engage the any of the three hammer notches and the gun will fire by just pulling back the hammer and letting it go without ever touching the trigger.
