Living in this crime infested Cesspool of California, I have been avoiding shopping in upscale stores, careful of my surrounding when at an ATM, and not carrying a lot of cash or un-needed credit cards. The new way we have to live in this once Golden State.
I am getting use to $5.39 per gallon of gas and empty shelves at the grocery stores.

What a sad state of affairs. My eldest daughter just spent a year in Walnut Creek and couldn't get out fast enough. I lived in California from 1960 to 1977 and that was a great state to live in back in those days.

I certainly hope it doesn’t spread across America but as successful as it appears to be, I wouldn’t guarantee that it doesn’t spread. It’s organized and that’s where my fear rests. Every criminal endeavor in our present society that is organized, scares me because there’s someone very wealthy behind the organization.

It's only successful where the laws are so lenient, that they favor the criminal over the citizen. The District Attorneys that choose not to prosecute or hold the criminals with appropriate bail are too common-even in "red states".
