I cannot say for sure, but most of my ancestors came to North America in the 1800s, stayed in Canada and the Northern US and never owned s***es or did any business in the s***e trade. I am blameless.

Excellent point. I concede that our White ancestors royally royally screwed over the Native Americans, but a point can be made that most of those tribes likely dispossessed earlier tribes. That in no way excuses the White Man, it merely gives perspective. Your point about all countries conquered what they own is correct.

It's interesting to note that one tribe, sorry can't remember the name, after fighting with neighboring tribes, IF they won and had any prisoners, that an arrow be shot into the body of the captive for every male in the village, including babies.
not too. that western Indians, the most fierce warriors that there were, were living hand to mouth until the Spaniards brought horses to the new world.
Eastern tribes like the Cherokee had canoes and their feet for travel!
