These few sentences pretty much sums up the my thoughts of what happened on the 6th

“And what concerns me, is that you were gullible enough to come all the way up here from Florida based upon a lie and then associate yourself because of that lie with people and try to undermine the will of the American public about who should be the president of the United States.”

Meanwhile, Walton continued, the person who inspired Johnson’s action, former President Donald Trump, is still making those false statements.

“I have concerns about whether you will be gullible when something like this arises again ... That concerns me, it really does because we are in a troubled situation as a country,” he said. “Al Gore had a better case to argue than Mr. Trump and he was a man about what happened to him and he accepted it for the benefit of the country and walked away. “

The Parrish man who posed for photos after stealing Nancy Pelosi’s lectern during the J*** 6 Capitol r**t has pleaded guilty to illegally entering the Capitol that day.

Adam Johnson, 36, pleaded guilty Monday morning to one count of entering or remaining in any restricted building. In exchange for his plea and accepting responsibility, federal prosecutors are not seeking any prison time.

Johnson was quickly identified after photos of him smiling and waving while carrying the lectern went v***l, and other Manatee County residents recognized him and submitted tips to the FBI. The lectern — valued at more than $1,000 according to the House curator — was later found by Senate staff in the Red corridor of the Senate wing off the Rotunda in the Capitol.

The lead prosecutor, Assistant U.S. Attorney Jessica Arca, and Johnson’s defense attorneys, Dan Eckhart and David Bigney, determined as part of the plea agreement signed Oct. 26 that prison time would not be appropriate. The U.S. Attorney’s Office also agreed to reduce Johnson’s score on sentencing guidelines because he has taken responsibility for his actions that day.

The agreement is also recommending that Johnson pay $500 restitution for his share of the damage done to the Capitol. Johnson was not present in the Washington D.C. for Monday’s hearing, and the plea was instead taken in a video conference.

Senior U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton will sentence Johnson at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 25.

Walton declined to detain Johnson until sentencing based on the prosecution’s request, but not without expressing his concerns and making clear he was considering imposing prison time.

“You seemed to have thought it was a fun event to be involved in. I don’t understand that mentality and to come to Washington D.C. and to destroy a monument of our democracy, I find very, very disturbing,” Walton said.

Walton called Johnson weak-minded enough to believe Trump’s lie and do what he did before asking him, “So why shouldn’t I lock you up sir? Why should I think that you won’t do this again?”

“Your honor, I understand that my actions are irreprehensible but I am here pleading guilty because I am guilty. I have taken responsibility,” Johnson said. “This was my first protest and last protest.”

The other charges Johnson faced — one count of theft of government property and one count of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds — will be dismissed. Prosecutors have also agreed not to prosecute Johnson for any other non-violent crimes he may have committed during any events surrounding the i**********n at the Capitol.

Johnson had at some point indicated he wanted to publicize his involvement in the Capitol r**t in a book or something similar, Walton revealed before warning him that should he publish anything for the next five years, the federal government would have to seize any that he may profit as a result.

The time is coming that the t***h will be shown to everyone. Let us hope that on that day, fools like judge Walton get what they deserve!

I'm an American and I did not v**e for trump. "believe in f**e news" I've learned to research a subject to see all sides, something I believe you've completely missed if you still believe the e******n f***d lie. It amazes me how so many on the right are ready to believe the worst about our country when the t***h is right in front of you. From e******n officials left and right, forensic audit to now even many GOP politicians say the same thing. Not enough fraud to change the e******n but you'd rather believe one d********g sales man trump just to try and prove you're right. Problem is there is NO PROOF.

When you start out with what appears to be a stupid comment, your post isn't worth reading.
***Meanwhile, Walton continued, the person who inspired Johnson’s action, former President Donald Trump, is still making those false statements.
>>>President Trump is not making False statements. They have not been proven to be False, any more then your statements have been proven to be true. But the overwhelming evidence points to massive fraud. Period.

Oh there was fraud. There always is. To believe there wasn’t is imbecilic. How much fraud, who knows? The courts refused to see the evidence. For their own reasons. We can all speculate why, but that’s just opinion. You can spout your leftest talking points all day. Doesn’t make you right or t***hful. I’m a stats kinda person. All the economic, C***d, crime, and any other you can think of were better under Trumps policies. No objective person would believe that addle brained lying i***t Biden got more v**es than anyone in our history, or more inner city v**es than Obama. Doesn’t matter now. He’s destroying the faux Democrat Party but he’s also destroying the U.S..

I'll agree there is always some fraud, normally people v****g more than once, the thing is we know about this fraud because the fraudsters get caught. What you and all the big lie believers fail to grasp is to put up a fraud e******n like you talk about there would have to be a mountain of evidence. There would have to be collusion between state e******n officials Republican and Democrat and a nation wide effort affected by millions of people to pull off this fraud. All this without leaving any evidence that could be used in a court of law and everyone involved keeping their mouths shut. I'm sorry but 99% of the time the simplest solution to a problem is correct, "Occum's Razor". The simplest answer here is, there was not enough fraud or evidence of fraud to affect the results of the e******n, that's why the courts won't hear these cases. Republican and Democrat appointed judges agree there's no evidence to hear, only false accusations. there's a 99% chance that trump lied, he just can't take it that he lost so he lies.

Actually that’s not true. Fraud is seldom caught and when it is, it’s not prosecuted. It’s hard to prove and prosecutors
like slam dunks and big headlines.
So it was just a coincidence that a bunch of states quit counting v**es until the next day? I have a client. A-political, like a lot of geeks. He owns his own software company. Told me he could hack a d******n machine in a heart beat. He didn’t even v**e. Said there was no point. Not that I agree. I’m one of the people that will make it just fine economically even with i***t Joe. Many won’t. All the past “bellwether “ stats that predict e******ns predicted Trump. Never has happened before. Amazing. Biden didn’t need some huge conspiracy. All that was needed was fraud in some battleground states. My biggest problem was what some states did unconstitutionally. v****g laws were changed by EO. State constitutions demand that has to be done by the state legislatures. Lots of irregularities in that e******n. I don’t believe in coincidence. You talk like you no something and it’s obvious your a cut and paste guy. The judge’s didn’t hear the cases because of standing. Look it up. Hundreds of signed affidavits from Americans saying they witnessed fraud. Of course you would believe a bureaucrat and not a hard working citizen. I don’t think you can be fixed.

Most if the cases were dismissed for lack of standing in other words they the courts wouldn't be able make a determination on the case. WHY? because there was no evidence of wrong doing. Without evidence there is no case, ask a lawyer.

Your client can hack a v****g machine that's not connected to the internet? neat trick...

Some were connected to the internet. They never saw the evidence. That’s kinda of the point. IMO they were afraid hearings on this would tear the country apart.

They didn't see the evidence because there was none given. If I went to a court and said you wronged me in some way I would be denied trial because I don't know you, you weren't around me, I've never seen you and you did me no harm. Without evidence of a wrong doing a court will dismiss there's nothing unusual about it when there's a lack of evidence. No lawyer introduced evidence because they know if they lie in court the will lose their license. No evidence, No case....

Not true. Standing. The claimant has to show harm. Hard to do with a fraud
allegation. I had a paralegal certification years ago, but will further research.
