I live in Texas, and I'm very proud of it, but I find myself in the VERY unusual position of disagreeing with you, PR. This happening anywhere would have ended the same way. I may be speaking too soon, since I do not know a lot about the robbery. But from what I've seen, this thing was VERY well coordinated using a LOT of vehicles and people who knew EXACTLY what to do. I think it very likely that this was the action of an established gang with experience at hit and run heists. With so many players, it is incredible that no one was k**led or seriously hurt. Whoever planned and coordinated it should be admired (and feared) for their sk**ls. I hope he/she/they are in prison soon!

Never thought of the smash and run attack in Walnut Creek that way but makes absolute sense. I do believe that if it continues in other states they will be in mostly blue states as there is where the least resistance would be. Want to believe that it will not happen here but as more people flee the blue states they seem to be bringing their misbegotten ideas with them.

No one ever said bad things do not happen in red states. They do. Just not as often as in blue states/cities. And in red areas, the leadership does not excuse or justify the bad things, nor do they encourage it by defunding the police. By the way, MOST large cities are controlled by Democrats, regardless of the state.
I noticed you did not provide a comparable list for Chicago. Or San Francisco. Or Baltimore. Or Washington DC.
No, of course not. But that's all right. The crime statistics are there, plain as day, on the FBI site.
