Russia vs Ukraine

Tucker just made me very angry. He told the Congressman from Ohio that he’d let his views decide. I’m a viewer and I understood what the Representative was saying and i agreed with him. We can’t let one country take over a Democracy with tanks or bombs or in any way. The Ukraine should be part of NATO now. Obama sent them blankets when Russia tried to take them over last time. If you’re confronting an armed force, how can they save themselves with blankets?

Personally I an totally against Ukraine joining NATO.

After the cold war. the USSR broke up. NATO was created to defend against the USSR. But suddenly it was Russia on the east and NATO on the west in Europe. I would rather have seen the Warsaw pact stay together without Russia, and as free states. A big buffer between Russia and NATO. But NATO keeps creeping up on Russia. There was and is no reason for NATO to be expanding to the border of Russia. They are looking like the expansionist force now. And there was no need for that. If I was Russian, I would look very warily at NATO and there expansion.

Just a different look at the situation. What is your reasoned response?

Personally I an totally against Ukraine joining NA... (show quote)

NATO is already rather stretched out. You’re right about that, but I can’t see not helping a country maintain their freedom. They have a real democracy there. I don’t want my son to die there but I can see no reason not to send weapons for their troops. We have a military that probably won’t be using the weapons since Biden has thinned them out with the woke education and the v*****e mandate.

How about a weapons exchange. They send us their sling shots and we send them tanks. Russia has no reason to invade them. They just want NATO to back off. They'd rather do business with us and everyone else. Let's face it. Putin has more brains in his back pocket then biden has in his head.

Unfortunately the Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. They can’t fight Russia and we can’t in our present condition. I have no confidence in the group of i***ts that are running our woke military.

NATO doesn't need the Ukraine... In fact, from a defensive standpoint, it makes more sense to use them as a buffer against Russia...

Trump did more to undermine and trash the Ukraine on behalf of his BBB Putin than can be believed...delayed them getting the weapons they needed in a timely manner as congress had v**ed for.

Not sure what you are talking about. Are you referring to Crimea?
