To those that never served, you might not know how utterly disrespectful this is.

Typical arrogant elitist liberal. Typical B***h.

Some are calling it "Semper Latte"

This is my way of saying you don't count.

Nope.

Quote:
President Obama returned a formal military salute by saluting with a coffee cup he had in his hand as he stepped off his U.S. Marine Corps helicopter in New York on Sunday.

A video of the gesture that some are calling the “latte salute” was uploaded to the White House Instagram account.

“President Obama just landed in New York for #UNGA2014,” the caption reads.

The salute is “the most important of all military courtesies,” says a manual, titled “Customs and Courtesies,” for Marine Corps officer candidates, The Daily Caller reported.

“In general, do not salute when… carrying articles with both hands or being otherwise so occupied as to make saluting impractical,” the manual says.

Mr. Obama did not appear to be carrying anything else in his hands when he made the unusual salute.

You would think in an ever changing and more violent world the masses would have enough sense when v****g to stop and think one minute that the person they are v****g for will be the commander in chief. That means your kids or grandkids someone you knows kids may be asked to put his or hers life on the line. Do you really want people who have constantly shown disdain for the military like are commander in chief, to make decisions about National Security. How about someone that has actually accomplished something in their life. Hint, community organizer really doesn't count.

I had to laugh at that one. I was one of 3 Marines stationed onboard that ship, and we used rib each other all the time. They used to call me a tree, because I wore my camoflauge fatigues. But hell. It was all in fun. And thank you for your service as well. But I look at it as we're all brothers in arms.........
