Keep in mind that his child has a pre-existing condition. Even the guys who invented it and now discourage it say that it should still be used in high risk individuals.

You are doing what you think is best based on the information you have received. Never get in between a cub and a mama bear. So I won't. I wish her well and hope it works for her.
I could go on for an hour with all I think is wrong with these particular drugs, and have, and even more so for children, who almost universally don't need this intervention. I would only further caution you on how these drugs have particularly attacked lungs with blood clots. The shots themselves. You mentioned her lungs and that is why I mention it.
All the decent people on OPP wish this child well, and a long happy life, free of C***d or related complications.
