The four worst presidents:
1. Thomas Jefferson, whose pitching for states rights (and a weak central govt) combined with his strong support of s***ery, planted the seeds of the Civil War and 750,000 dead soldiers.
2. James K. Polk, whose aggressive imperialism, caused Mexico to lose the northern half of their nation in an unnecessary war.
The fallout from those land "purchases" by gunpoint, are our current border and immigration tensions.
3. Lyndon Johnson. His lies about Vietnam led to our becoming trapped in a swamp of our own making, resulting in 58,000 soldiers dying. The militarists "domino" theory was false and chained our nation to the military-industrial war profiteers.
4. GW Bush, whose lies caused us to wade into middle eastern quicksand, with the loss of thousands of soldiers, and well over a million dead Iraqis.....to say nothing of trashing Iraq's environment with depleted uranium shells (resulting in a 400% increase in childhood cancers).
Bush and Cheney's need, to have other people (soldiers) retrieve their masculinity, also trashed our economy resulting in over a trillion dollars of totally unnecessary debt.

Your revisionist history needs a little revising. Thomas Jefferson? Twenty-seven of the fifty-five delegates to the Constitutional Convention were s***e owners. Ten were Northerners. S***ery was, at one time, legal in all 13 colonies, while they were still property of the jolly old England you wish we still owed allegiance to. Nearly every s***e brought to North America was ens***ed by other b****s. While Arabs ens***ed more b****s than b****s did, arguably, the majority of s***es in the US came from an area of Western Equatorial Africa where there was little Arab activity. These b****s were already s***es, courtesy of their own people. Your constant attempts to re-write history to fit your Liberal fantansies ignores this, and also ignores the fact that s***ery was not the main cause of the Civil War, and the Commander of the Union Forces, Ulysess Grant, and his wife, were s***e owners at the time he was commander, and did not free their s***es until forced to do so by ratification of the 13th Amendment. At the time of the Civil War, S***ery was legal in W VA, Maryland, and in some cases, in NJ. The Emancipation Proclamation only freed the s***es in the South. It was remarkably silent on the subject of Northern S***es, and, for that matter, in the area around New Orleans, which was controlled by Union Forces, and had a huge umber of black s***e owners.
By contrast, the Confederate commander,Robert E Lee, freed his s***es voluntarily, AFTER seeing to it that they had some sort of employment. He did this well before the Emancipation Proclamation, and long before Grant freed his s***es, or those in the above mentioned states were freed.
Thomas Jefferson was, by the standards of his time, a very moral man. S***ery was commonplace all over the world, and nowhere more than Africa.
Spanish Conquistadores conquered Mexico from the Aztecs, as Pizzaro did the Incas in South America. During this process, they ens***ed millions of Indians. I have never heard you say a word about this. The Spanish imported most of the African s***es who came to this hemisphere. Less than 5% of the African s***es ended up in the US, some 600,000, out of the millions.
Which brings us to the US acquistition of Mexican territory at "gun point." How, in your revisionist fairy tale of history, did the Mexicans acquire their land? Why, at gunpoint from the Spanish, who, in turn, acquired it at gunpoint from the original Indian inhabitants. Of course, in your warped perspective, w***e A******ns were the only ones who committed any t***sgressions.
The "fallout" you refer to is the result of Liberal Democratic efforts to recruit i*****l a***ns as amnestied Democratic v**ers.
In all fairness, your assessment of LBJ is correct, and that of Bush is partly correct.
