The Wall Street Journal faced backlash Wednesday for publishing a letter to the editor from former President Donald Trump filled with demonstrably false claims about the 2020 e******n.

Responding to a Sunday Wall Street Journal editorial titled “The E******n for Pennsylvania’s High Court,” the former president wrote, “Well actually, the e******n was r****d, which you, unfortunately, still haven’t figured out.”

He then provided a bulleted list of “examples” of v***r f***d in Pennsylvania to support his claims, relying repeatedly on data from Audit the V**e PA, an organization that has no real experience in assessing e******ns and has promoted unsubstantiated claims of fraud.

Multiple audits into the state’s 2020 e******n results affirmed the v**e count, and numerous lawsuits challenging the results failed in court. There is no evidence of widespread fraud in Pennsylvania or any other state’s e******n.

The Wall Street Journal published Trump’s letter without noting these facts. The former president was deplatformed from Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites earlier this year after spreading disinformation about the e******n for months and inciting a mob of his supporters to storm the U.S. Capitol to try and overturn the results.

Since then, Trump has resorted to campaign-style rallies and tweet-like statements released through his spokesperson to spread his lies.

Media critics, journalists and political commentators slammed the Journal Wednesday for giving Trump another platform for disinformation and for passing off his false claims as “opinion.”

“Trump couldn’t post this on Facebook but the editors at the WSJ collectively decided to put it on their platform. Think about that. And they think they can distance themselves from it by doing it as an LTE. As of that magically absolves them from pushing the lies,” tweeted Amanda Carpenter, political columnist for The Bulwark.

Jordan Fischer, an investigative reporter for Washington, D.C., channel WUSA9, called it a “new low” for the Journal’s opinion section.

“Today they printed a litany of e******n falsehoods from former President Trump – without even a single mention of the fact that their own editorial side has thoroughly debunked these claims,” he tweeted.

Washington Post national correspondent Philip Bump made 14 observations about the letter’s veracity and observed that “the Journal would have been better served had it explained why it chose to run the letter without contextualizing it, since that might have at least offered some clarity on the otherwise inexplicable decision.” He noted that the paper had so far declined to comment on its rationale.

The Wall Street Journal did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment.

Arizona's v**e count was substantially confirmed as well... it's just that, at minimum, 75,000 v**es were confirmed to be illegal. Decertification of the e******n is the only correcting action available. It should be done while there are still functional remnants of America left.

You need to get a copy of R****d: How the Media, Big Tech, and the Democrats Seized Our E******ns by Mollie Hemingway.

Do you have any real experience in assessing the t***hfulness of the mass media which has promoted unsubstantiated claims of v****g system integrity? You know not what you are talking about.

Please provide evidence that "75,000 v**es were confirmed to be illegal." You guys really have to stop depending on rumors and conspiracy theories spewed by h**er sites.

Here is one but there are many sites covering the details, just not the MSM.

Confirmed by who...i***ts who knew not a single thing about e******ns? You forget that these were the same morons who were looking for bamboo in the b****ts as if that was supposed to prove something other than what complete i***ts they are.

The only thing that the Arizona audit proved was how incredibly stupid conservatives are in this country believing anything that is spoon-fed to them by their handlers. So why JW are we supposed to reduce our IQ to your level and believe the same moronic crap that you do?

Well, not exactly i***ts. There were several companies and experts involved in the process and all of them were approved by the AZ senate as competent. Since you raise the issue of IQ levels, I qualified in the MENSA entrance testing, have you? I admit that I never joined but I did qualify, in the old days, before they dropped the qualification levels to 2%.

One more thing, I don't BELIEVE anything. I know or I don't know. I am a skeptic and agnostic in their original meanings.

Look, I'll take the word of a federal judge over a self-appointed MENSA-level conservative such as yourself.

The difference IQ actually makes is not in what a person knows but in the breadth of that knowledge and the abilty to apply it. It is a matter of awareness more than "smarts". You demonstrate repeatedly in your postings just how unaware you are. For example; you claim the CyberNinjas had no experience in auditing e******ns. Not true; they had just finished auditing Antrim county in MI before moving into AZ. Auditing is what they do. You, the smartest man on Earth, have never produced anything other than talking points. Your demonstrated awareness is abysmal.

Your lack of awareness leaves you unable to connect the dots. You need information fed to you in conclusions. You don't think for yourself. You regurgitate other's mantras.

I am "h*****g my hat" on a man who has demonstrated an almost super human ability to succeed when everything is arrayed against him. He is a man who has demonstrated that he understands the spirit of the founding of this country. He is a man, unlike his predecessor, who has expressed his love this nation and its people and has acted accordingly.

1) Cyberninjas is a Security Consulting firm. That is not a firm that does e******n audits.
2) Atrium county had a hand recount. Why would you want to audit a county that had already had a hand recount?
3) One audit is hardly experience especially when more than one audit was already done. Do you think you can audit until you get the results you want?
4) I'm not the one running around boasting about the power of my brain! You are. My comment was flippant because of the prospect that you fancy yourself a genius. You have no critical thinking sk**ls and last I checked that's pretty much a requirement for MENSA.
5) This country is comprised of more than far-right conservatives. A president has to be president to everyone not simply those who crawl up his ass. Donald Trump made it perfectly clear that he was only president of the Republican party and everyone else could go to hell. That's not a president who demonstrated the qualities you say he did and the fact that you are blind to that only demonstrates how pitifully ignorant you really are!

If Gore claimed he won he wouldn't have conceded the e******n. If Hillary claimed she won she wouldn't have conceded the e******n. Every intelligence agency that we have...all 17 of them stated that Russia tried to tip the e******n in Trump's favor. If there was an impeachment planned for Trump why wasn't it undertaken right after he was sworn in?

As for the i**********n...the stated reason they were there was to overturn the e******n. Now you conservatives can bury your head in the sand all you like but when you want to overturn the duly elected president that's an i**********n.

And I could care what you think of Democrats. You people are t*****rs to this country and there isn't a level of hell that you don't deserve to occupy!
