As I mentioned previously; I’m sure other sources can be found with different State rankings. Rankings vary dependent upon the criteria used. In what I read, even with different criteria a State’s rank rarely changed more than 2-3 places. I hope you’re now in a place you love and enjoy. I know I am after living in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Although I liked and very much enjoyed Texas, South Carolina is home now and always will be.
