Gatsby, Critical race theory is not taught in elementary school anyplace in the country. It is taught in law school and some post graduate schools. It is important that we teach American history the way it is, not the way we would like it to have been. The Civil War was the single most important event in our history. S***ery existed as did Jim Crow, and it is vital that we teach it in public schools!

As a personal note - I was taught American History in high school, and we learned/discussed much of the "bad" parts as well as the good parts.
And this was in the mid 60's.
CRT isn't history - it is teaching/creating a false divide.
