I respond only as side amusement.
So why do I thank God for them?

First. They have great Contrast Value. Next to the bright people writing they provide the Dopey Themes In Contrast to Objective Thinkers.

That's for everyone else but for me it's personal:
I have scored a big pile of money this year betting on stupid gullible people.
I bet on the outcome of the Dr. Falsie panic that sucked in the sheeple. A clear but mild panic ensued. People selling snake oil to the gullible as a cure was a Big Hit. I bet and made a pile on that one. I underestimated the levels of stupidity that could be reached and got out too soon. If I didn't I could have bought another Corvette and an airplane too.

Just staying with stupid alone I watched Jim Crow Joe destroy the petroleum industry in the US. I h**ed that but there was money to be made. Now we have to import Oil. How does it get here? Tankers.
Side bet on the price of crude too. Another winner.

Cargo is backed up the the West Coast ports to a ridiculous level because of bad government policy. So how to score? Freight rates more than doubled lately. A ship leased for $35,000 a day now goes for twice that on open booking. Long term contracts expire often. OPPORTUNITY!
Score #3 On Container ships.

I'm looking for the next one. Score #4 of the year.

It's pretty easy now days with internet information. Watch, think, bet. Don't get distracted.
Don't be dumb as a Democrat unless you can get direct bribes like a politician. Or inside trading information like Pelousy and others do. Be sure to call the bribes Campaign contributions.
